The Monterey Shootout
A film festival, workshops and a competition make up this 3 day event that focuses on underwater video and photography on Sept 9-11, 2011.
The event kicks off on Friday with a free Digital Underwater Photography Class for Beginners. Dives for the shootout competition begin at 1:00 p.m. that day and continue on Saturday. The film festival, featuring some of the luminaries of underwater imaging, is on Saturday night. A couple of seminars on Sunday are followed by the Winners Show and Prize Competition.
